EEOC Guidance on Mandatory COVID Vaccines

Shoutouts to the EEOC?!?  Hey, it’s 2020.

The vaccine is newly available in some quarters, plans for distribution are sketchy, employers are beginning to consider whether to insist that employees get shots, and the EEOC is already giving “Guidance” that truly does help explain the tangle of legal considerations.  The Commission has placed the material at the end of its rolling set of FAQs on virus-related issues.  So, you need to scroll all the way to section K.  We will have more to come dissecting the laws related to mandatory testing and boiling the Guidance down to more easily digestible pieces.  For now, though, here it is, hot off the presses on December 16, 2020.  A very helpful service from your friends at the EEOC.
